Welcome to the new website of Luchetta Farm and Training Center! Formerly known as Tricetta Miniatures and Rohan Training Center, we have simplified it into one farm name.
We specialize in breeding top quality Miniature horses and Shetland ponies, striving for quality over quantity and only breeding on a small scale in order to do so.
We also offer training for Miniatures and Shetlands at competitive rates. Whether you are looking to show at the National level or you have a horse that needs a refresher, we have many training options to choose from. Show rates can be found under the "training" tab and non-show rates are available upon request.
Please take your time looking through our horse pages and contact us if you have any questions.
Enjoy!
After showing together for 5 years, Corey and Koren started breeding miniatures and shetlands in 2017 after Corey's parents stepped away from the farm "Tricetta Miniatures"
They starting changing the breeding program, adding new stallions and mares and then in 2018 they started training professionally as well.
In 2020, they officially changed their farm name from Tricetta to Luchetta.
In 2021, Koren quit her job to become full time trainer and manager of Luchetta Farm and Training and took on a select amount of clients.
in 2022 Corey completed his apprenticeship and was awarded his judges cards for ASPC Classic/Foundation, and Modern/ASPR to add to his AMHR card.
Corey Luchetta got his start in Miniatures in 1999 when his parents bought 2 minis as pets. His parents then attended a show and realized they wanted something to show competitively. So they bought 2 more and soon "Tricetta Miniatures" was born. Corey fell in love with the breed and with showing. He traveled the country with his parents, showing at the national and world level shows and always learning how to improve. As a teenager, Corey spent his summers at the farms of top trainers, learning to train and show at the highest level and win.
Today, Corey specializes in handling horses for halter and driving and holds multiple Champions and Reserve titles at Worlds, Nationals, and Congress.
Corey is also a carded judge for AMHR/ASPC/ASPR
Koren Luchetta(Gravell) started riding hunter/jumpers in 2002 but fell in love with miniature horses during a barn sleepover at Due Process Stable. Shortly after, Korens parents purchased an unregistered miniature horse for her and she was hooked! The owner of Due Process Stable, Sandy Croote, offered to teach her how to show minis and the rest is history.
Koren showed with Sandy all over the east coast/New England area, primarily showing PtHA but eventually moving to AMHR. Sandy taught Koren how to train a horse for driving, halter, and in-hand performance with emphasis on building a strong foundation and relationship with each horse.
In 2011, Koren met Corey at a horse show and in 2012 she decided to show with the Luchetta's in order to continue her knowledge with training and showing.
